Recycling & Buyback

Customers can drop off clean, separated recyclables such as cardboard and mixed paper at no charge, and can turn in glass, plastic and aluminum beverage containers with a CA redemption value for a refund.

Household Hazardous Waste

Placer County residents can drop off HHW at no cost. Residents and businesses may not transport – and the facility will not accept – more than 15 gallons or 125 pounds per trip.

Your waste hauler may also pick up limited HHW and electronics for free at your door!  Contact your waste hauler for more information or to schedule a pickup appointment.

Businesses generating small amounts of hazardous waste (CESQGs) can drop off materials for a fee.
